: Try placing him in a small container with water and throw in the feeder fish; remember that if they're uncomfortable with their enviroment they will not eat, so a water filter is a plus, try turtle pellets (they tend to like those a lot at an early age) and shrimp (the unexpensive, salad kind)...do not worry if it goes for 5 days without eating, as they go for weeks without eating in the wild, so don't worry, let it settle down and it will eventually start eating normally.
