Never mind, she's getting better now. Thanks to everyone who asked about fungal infections for spiny softshells; I wouldn't have known what to do without you!
: I have a young female spiny softshell turtle, with patches of white on her neck—I'm fairly sure that she has a fungal infection. As far as I can tell she's still eating. We put aquarium salts in the water, and the Ph level is already neutral; yet the infection, instead of getting better, has now spread to one of her front claws. We've only been putting salts in the water for a week. Will it just take longer for her to get better, or should we try something else?
: Suggestions are EXTREMELY welcome!
