Softshell help please.

Alright, I have a softshell turtle not sure what kind, but know that is is a softshell.. I live in NE, and just need some basic information, I've had the turtle for close to a year and have seen no growth whatsoever, the turtle has a shell about 2 inches in diameter (same as when obtained), all basics taken care of, uv light, basking rock with heat, water temp about 78-80, feeder fish to eat anytime he/she pleases, and pellet food also. That is all the info I know, and all I know about softshell turtles, anyone who can provide more information, or useful web pages, please help me out, have a voracious appetite for the knowledge, Thanks,
