Not sure but it sounds like she may be suffering from a fungal infection. Do you use aquarium salts in the water? My advice is seek the assistance of vet for a proper diagnosis BEFORE the turtle stops eating.

: I have a young softshell turtle who is sick. I'm not sure what kind he is—he's from a pond in Chicago, IL, and has a smooth, tan shell with yellow spots (also, he may be male or female, I'm not sure). He lives in a fairly large tank, which he shares with another turtle of the same age but a different species. He eats strips of raw meat (beef, chicken, fish) of the same type that you could give to humans; we have tried to feed hiim other things, such as crickets, but I'm not sure if he actually eats those. He was under these conditions for a long time and was perfectly fine—then suddenly he got sick. His shell has gotten slightly wrinkly in places, although I'm not sure if this is related to his other problem, namely: one eye has clouded over and nearby patches of his neck have gone white. What's wrong?
