Thanks for the info, Eric! Unfortunately, I'm responsible for the shell problems...I've had the girl for about a year and a half and the shell problems started about three months ago. But I just purchased 1.1 (from Mario) only 3 days after they arrived from Africa and they were REALLY rough. The male died last week. I want to let you know that I e-mailed McCord and he told me the trick for grabbing their legs. He suggested putting it in water and when the leg comes out, grab it with a wash cloth (in the water). After weeks of trying to figure this out, McCord's idea worked brilliantly! Now it's time for some antibiotics and topical treatments, as you suggested. Thanks, again!
