Thanks for the info, Steve! Unfortunately, I think I'm forced to inject...somehow. My Cyclonorbis are very light and secretive eaters. The diseased female IS eating but the condition has progressed to a horrendous level. She's also a big 14 inches and very strong, making it impossible to grab a leg without breaking something. I already asked the vet about going in the shell itself (since its a softshell) or inbetween the flaps and he thought this was a very bad idea. As you can see, this is a tough one...and I hate to see the big girl getting worse. !!!???
