What the Bluegrass herp society is about...
We are dedicated to dissemination of information and education in
regards to all aspects of reptiles and amphibians, be they sientific,
recreational, or educational.
We also hope to work in conjunction with our state's fish and wildlife
agency in enacting sensible legislation in regards to native and exotic
fauna within our great state.

What you get as a member...

We will be having a monthly meeting with guest speakers from the
entire region from breeders, zookeepers, and herpetologists, we will
conduct field trips to local zoos(behind the scenes of course), museums,
and other places of interest. Including At least two FIELD trips, to The
Land Between The Lakes, and Natural Bridge State Park.

You will recieve a newsletter that will keep you current on the herp news
from around the world, as well as husbandry articles in each issue, it
will even feature a classified ads section to buy sell and trade your
reptiles and related items.

Your first few meetings are FREE, to try us out. Membership is
reasonable, only to cover production, and postage costs.

The Blugrass Herpetolgical society is open to all age groups, and
children are encouraged to attend.

The first meeting will be held in November, if you or someone you know
is interested in helping to administrate this exciting new organization,
or if you are interested just as a member,
call today.
