: What the Bluegrass herp society is about... : We are dedicated to dissemination of information and education in : regards to all aspects of reptiles and amphibians, be they sientific, : recreational, or educational. : We also hope to work in conjunction with our state's fish and wildlife : agency in enacting sensible legislation in regards to native and exotic : fauna within our great state. : What you get as a member... : We will be having a monthly meeting with guest speakers from the : entire region from breeders, zookeepers, and herpetologists, we will : conduct field trips to local zoos(behind the scenes of course), museums, : and other places of interest. Including At least two FIELD trips, to The : Land Between The Lakes, and Natural Bridge State Park. : You will recieve a newsletter that will keep you current on the herp news : from around the world, as well as husbandry articles in each issue, it : will even feature a classified ads section to buy sell and trade your : reptiles and related items. : Your first few meetings are FREE, to try us out.
