Hi,
My 2 yr old ball python is on antibiotics and I need to feed him every 3 days (I inject the antibiotics into the mice). I've been feeding him small feeder mice but lately he's acting like its not enough. He strikes at the air when people are near the tank, he even strikes at the glass sometimes. I'm going to try feeding him some larger mice but I'm afraid then he won't eat every 3rd day. Until he started this behavior I've been handling him regularly, now I'm not sure what he's going to do if I put my hand in the tank. Is this normal behavior for a hungry snake? Any suggestions?
