Greetings,

The Philadelphia Herpetological Society has a meeting scheduled for Monday, 28 Jan 2002 at 7:30 pm. The location is Rhawnhurst-Bustleton Ambulance Association, 2044 Grant Ave, Phila PA 19115. The building is located between the Blvd and Bustleton Avenues in NE Philly.

Please join us for our 50th year! We are planning to hold elections at this meeting so it is especially important to show your support and vote for your favorite officers. Steering committee members are also needed.

Nominations will also be accepted from the floor if you or someone you know would like to volunteer for a position.

I'm working on contacting potential speakers for this meeting ... please send a blank msg to PhillyHerp-subscribe@yahoogroups.com to be added to our email notification list.

The Steering Committee has set individual dues for 2002 to just $5 as an incentive to draw in more members.

Dues will be collected at the meeting by our Membership Secretary, Richard Heck prior to elections.

We have also been offered meeting space at the Philadelphia Zoo, The Delaware County Institute of Science, U of Penn, and The Free Library, so this should be a most productive year with varied activities.
