HSUS Call For Reptile Ban

As many of you know the Humane Society of the United States would like to ban the herp industry completly. This was published in the Dec. 2001 issue of REPTILES Magazine. This bill has reached the senate and is about to be voted on. I plan on contacting my local senators, state reps, and many more down the list. I am urging that the members of my local herp society do this also and I am urging you to please contact you government officals and ask that the members of your local herp society do the same. We need to keep this industry and hobby alive. If we don't, in the next 10-20 years I don't see us keeping any forms of herps.
