I have a 16 gallon tank (half land and water)with a light fixture on it. Just recently i added one fire bellied toad to the tank. with the two lights on, i noticed with my thermometer, that the tank can get as high as 90 degrees!I've heard that the ideal temp. is around 75. I have looked for smaller watt bulbes (i have two 15's) but with no luck. Is there anything i can do without sacrificing my light set up (without it, the tank looks fairly dull). I was also wondering whether i could add any differnt toads or frogs or even anything that can be ok around water to the setup b/c im trying to create a "community" :) Oh and before i forget, I have also noticed 3 small dots on the back of the frogs neck. It looks like it's light green or maybe even white. Im worried about it being mold. is there anything i could do about that. would "mericyn" help?Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! thank you very much, Greg.
