herp society disappointments

Any herp club members past or present. What shortcomings do you feel cauused you trouble or what could be improved in your organization? Did you have a diverse age group of members? Of species kept? A good particaption in club events & meetings? I belong to a newer club & want whatever comments or critisism you can offer so potential problems may be avoided. Thank you
