Will this hobby ever stand togeather?

I am very depressed when I think about how we as a hobby have been unable to come togeather and keep just one advocicy group going to protect our intrestes as herptoculturlists? If we wont whole heartedly support NRAAC, who will we support? Who will we turn to? Who will protect our intrests on a national level?
Do we think we have enough 'good will' from the genral public...to keep the hobby safe?
