Conference Objectives
To foster an understanding of the past, present, and future of Tennessee herpetology and herpetofauna; to promote communication between herp enthusiasts, researchers and managers of our amphibians and reptiles; and to identify ways of conserving our herpetofauna and their vital habitats.
Contributed Papers
Please submit (by mail or fax) the title of the paper, author (s), and institutional affiliations by September 15, 2000 to the address below. Provide also under separate cover, an abstract of the paper (500 words or less) with the title, no later than September 30, 2000. Copies of the abstracts will be made available at the Conference. All contributed papers will be limited to a 20 minute presentation time. A standard carousel slide projector and overhead projector will be provided at the meeting site. Papers concerning any aspect of research on Tennessee amphibians and/or reptiles are solicited. Those dealing with the herpetofauna of neighboring states will be considered also. Students are encouraged to use this opportunity to present their research findings.
Poster Session
A concurrent poster session is also planned for the conference. Presenters will be limited to four panels. Poster titles and abstracts (as noted above) are required.
