You may have noticed that for the past two days (when I noticed it) both
the GGA Web site and Listserv have been inaccessible. The server that
hosts both of these was recently broken into by a hacker. The company that
maintains these servers is working on rebuilding the systems and
reinstalling their most recent back-ups. As it is impossible for me to
e-mail everyone that visits the GGA site and/or subscribes to the Listserv
(I don't have a listing of everyone) I am hoping that I can count on you to
inform anyone that may inquire about this issue. I have been told that it
may take another day or so to get the servers back up and running. At that
time the GGA Listserv should be working as well. I will make a post on the
list as soon as I know it is up and running again. Since all the
information is being reinstalled from a backup tape there may be some
discrepancies in subscribers to the Listserv, Classified ads, and Contacts
listings.
