Rolando-In the wild the bigger ones probably get in deeper water in the heat of summer to reach cooler water.If you are talking in an aquarium I kept my hatchling in a 10gal. aquarium with the water level filled almost to the top.You just have to put a log or something he can climb and get air.(make sure it cant be knocked over) The higher water level makes them swim more and get more exercize.
