In Reply to: 215 Lb. Alligator Snapper at TN Aquarium Died (old news?) posted by Accomplice on January 20, 2003 at 21:04:13:

:I was at the amazing TN Aquarium this weekend. I saw 3 alligator snappers. I asked about the 215 lb. turtle that I'd seen on internet press releases. An employee said it had died of some illness. She said that one of the turtles I'd seen was 115 lbs., though I didn't see any that looked bigger than my 60 pounder. It really is an amazing place for turtle lovers. Hundreds of species on display in natural environments.
