Sorry hemicide, but,br...NEVER pickup a common snapper the same way as an alligator snapper,if you do,the common can VERY easily either reach back and nail you or pull his head in and nail you. The pics Bill Moss has posted are the correct way for each, never do it by the tail either. Very nice pics too Bill
