Pink skinned snapper

I've raised one for almost a year now along with a normal the same age. The normal was a little bigger at first but the pink one has outgrown it so for. It seems like the pinkskin's head is almost twice as big. Measurements: shell 4" and 3 1/2"
This might have to do with what sex they are. Steve
