Do you know what the average size of an adult female alligator snapper is? I was just wondering, I know the males get bigger then the females.


:A handful of people on here have alligator snappers over 100 lbs. (SteveH, Lynn, Maxx, Hemicide to name a few). I'm wondering what the straight line top shell lengths are for those beasts. Have you guys taken any measurements recently? One breeder said they don't get much over 27 inches and most top out around 24.
