Steve,
I bought a bunch of 1-2 inch goldfish and 5-6 inch shiners the other day and dumped them in with my adult male a. snapper. A couple of the big shiners have expired without obvious injuries and there are still many alive in the pond. All of the goldfish seem to be there. It did get cold again after that one spat of warm days so he may have just gone back into no eating mode. I'm not sure I'll ever witness this turtle eat anything as he's pretty shy and does most of his business in the evenings. I wouldn't worry too much about seeing them eat until it warms up for an extended period (late Feb. here?).

:just wondering if you got your turtle to eat those minnows the other day. i tried to get mine to eat some beefheart but he would'nt. problably to cold. Steve
