A couple of days back I posted a link to aquaculturetanks.com. That company makes some very large fiberglass tanks with viewing windows. They just gave me a bid on a modified version of the rectangle 600 gallon model listed on their web page. I asked them for a price if they cut it down to only a 2.5' depth. They just called and said it would have a thinner 1/2" thick acrylic window (47X26" window). I was blown away when they said that the price dropped from $4,500 to $1,500. Just wanted to let you guys know it is much cheaper than it initially appeared. It ends up being about 300 gallons. Its a bit pricier than a 300 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank but I think it's a much better option for indoor use.
