:I am very lucky to live were i do because there is a reptile show/swap twice a month year round were i live. For years i wanted an alligator snapper and i finally decided to look into it so i went to the show.Well i marched right up to the "Turtle Guy" and asked how much for an alligator snapper? He told me they are illegal in Illinois:( This upset me so i bought a Nile monitor :)(i love him to death)
: I want to know:
:1.Is it true that they are illegal in IL
:2.if so is there a way to get around this law?
:3.Can someone give me some basic care info on them id rather hear it from people on here then in some book.
hi
maybe I`m just misunderstanding, but why bring an "illegal" animal to a show if you can`t sell it in that particular state the shows in. Kind of like opening a Burger King restaraunt, displaying whoppers on the menu, but selling fries and drinks only.Anyway just my opinion. lol
