Do some research on the housing/ feeding/ care issues and then order yourself up a cute little hatchling common snapper for $10. If your going to catch wild ones, just check 'em out maybe take some measurements and then release them back where you got 'em. If you go to turtleman.com make sure you tell him you want a common snapper not the larger alligator snapper. Alligator snappers aren't native to that area and won't do well if ever released there.

:i live in maryland and snappers are my favoret turtle. i was thinking were could i get some adults and how to catch them? thanks
