What have your snappers done to other animals defense/ offen

I heard a tale of a dog approaching a large alligator snapper on land and getting its face half bitten off (it lived). Have your snappers done anything in defense or offense to other animals (non-food items)? My pond is very secure. A person or animal of any size can't get in without using a screwdriver. But I wonder what would happen if a large animal got in there.
