hey guys, i live in the philippines and i cant just put it back in the wild u know!? besides this has been with me for ages now. its common here once in a while 2 see young alligator snappers in pet shops w/c are imported from breders--i believe. matamatas are not common here though. AND YES! its an alligator snapper... its pretty obvious with all the spikes on its carapace and just look at the head. common snappers dont have huge head with all the spikes around its neck. and it also wouldnt grow that big. and to knot,i dont know if thats ryt for u to go asking people what to do with their animals especially with the tone of ur message. my alligator snappers are doing well and they eat a lot too. the mata mata is a little bit picky with its fud. tnx.
