Ryan-- That's a cool photo of Brutus. I just wanted to make a comment about his age since Underwater World (in the Mall of America) knows so little about turtles and has spread a significant amount of wrong information about turtles. Brutus is owned and on loan from Bruce, the owner of Twin Cities Reptiles. Bruce is also a member of the Minnesota Herp Society. No one knows for sure how old he is but you can be pretty sure that he's well over 100 years old...and 56 years old is WAY off! I went on the "Turtley Awesome" tour last year and they tried to tell me that he arrived as a hatchling 10 years ago! Anyway, he's a cool Loggerhead with interesting coloration...but Underwater World is wrong again! --Maxx, Minneapolis, MN
