:I once caught a minnow-sized large mouth bass and kept him in an aquarium until he was a couple of pounds. It was amazing how tame he became. I used to had feed it. He acted very similar to Oscars, but showed even more personality and was more friendly than any Oscar I've seen.

:I think that's amazing that the snapper didn't attempt to devour that bass. It's cool how those two different creatures kept a symbiotic relationship...

:..sorry to hear about your bass. I am an avid fisherman and I always practice catch -n- release. I think that bass I once kept was one of the reasons that I began the catch-n-release practice. Have a good one. SPRING IS HERE!!!
:-Phew

Hi Again

Yes I love fishing and always catch and release, but the bass (and 2 sunfish) came to me, purely by accident........Some friends were catching minnows for fishing and they had they minnow catcher in closer to shore, while out fishing, when they came back to pack up the car, they remembered their minnow bucket. Pulled it out, and packed it. They stopped by my place to give me the minnows to use, and voila, when I opened the bucket, there they were.

It was a really good experience and I would do it again.

The bass was named striker, and I could even pet him, just like you can with oscars.......i loved it.

Spring is here, really......lol, can you tell that to the weather out here, it doesnt seem to know that, it is still like winter (i am in Toronto)

Thanks Again
