Hi. He actually has a giant log that he likes to hide under and his stock tank has a latice lid that also gives cover. I don't think he's insecure in there for those reasons. I just hope its not a giant female trying to lay eggs. It just feels too dangerous to yank it out and attempt to sex it at this point. Maybe I'll try to take a peak next time it escapes.
