i have an alligator snapper about 2.5 inches long. today i noticed he had white crust around his eyes that got slimey after a soaking. he is housed with a common snapper (4 inches), a diamondback terrapin (2inches), 4redear sliders and 3 river cooters(2 to 3 inches each). they have been in a large tank with a nice basking area. the snappers never came out of the water and the aligator snapper has a soft shell. all the other turtles' shells have firmed up and are nice and healthy. i let the water dry up except for a small amount in the substrate hoping the warm light might might help develope it's shell. they all seem fine except today i noticed the crusty eyes. they all get about 2 hours a day in the feeding tank to soak. any suggestions ?
