:Hi.
:Is it possible to keep snapping turtles together with other species of turtles when there getting bigger? Can you keep adult alligator snapper together with adult common snappers. I presume you can keep them together untill a certain size?
I have to tell you ; I have heard different things. But I was just talking to John ( Turtle Guy) last week about this. He said he has no problem keeping his alligator snappers together provided there is enough room so they are not on top of each other.
I have 6 right now all together and they are fine. I would NOT do this with common snappers. Much more aggressive towards each other.
The alligators seem fine. John has over 300 alligator snappers both in his pond and in his tanks. So I tend to listen to what he says.
:Anyone with any experience on this?
:Thanks in advance.
