:I've read where reseachers found that they don't reach sexual maturity for 15 yrs.You might be able to raise several hatchlings up and be able to make a guess by different rates of growth. The Houston Zoo said it's hard to tell untill they get 15" shell size. So my guess is it's early to tell. Common Snappers are easier to sex. Just my opinion. Steve

Thanks for the advice. I guess I still got a few more years. Either way it'll be good!
