what is your water temp? that might be a problem if its not warm enough. when my guy was little i hhad the water in the upper 70s to about 85 and it was eating minnows, insects, and reptomin like there was no tomorrow. also loved dried shrimp. if its not going crazy over guppies, try earthworms, crickets, mealworms, or crayfish. also what size tank is it in?
