Trouble with salt build up on glass....

Hello, I have a African side necked mud turtle and I am hoping you guys can help me. I don't know if anyone has had this problem before but I am having a hard time with this salt build up. I am guessing when the water evaporates the salt is left behind, I clean and clean but it keeps coming back. Anyone have ideas? By the way, his name is Wrinkles(or Smiley) and I hope to get some pics up sometime.
