thats exactly what i did when i got my alligator snapper. as soon as i put hmi in his enclosure i threw about 12 fish in with him, along with alot of reptomin. he didnt eat for about 5 days, which didnt really bother me, he was pretty fat to begin with. allys seem to be more shy than commons when it comes to acclimating themselves. all my other snappers at least ate something the first 2 days. oh well, now he eats all the time. im sure yours will pick up soon, then youll need to start selling your possessions on ebay to feed that thing! j/k
