Well, considering the large adult size of both snapper species, you are going to need a pretty large enclosure capable of holding water. Alot of folks on this forum use rubber cattle troughs to house large adult snappers. Other options include acrylic garden ponds, and other plastic tubs and pools. I personally dont recommend glass aquariums...they are tough to deal with with large amounts of dirty water, and a angry snapper mulling about. So, if i have'nt discouraged you from keeping a snapper, good luck! Snappers are very easy to care for once their requirements are met.
