Ha, you described my current demeanor to a t. I stood over the tub for a while just checking this bad boy out. I'll stop throwing food at him for a couple of days and see how it goes.

I noticed that his once clear water is now very cloudy. I guess he's stirred up some stuff and probably brought some slime with him not to mention any waste he's expelled.

:Sounds like you did alot of research on your turt before you got it. Which is fantastic.

:But sounds like your over doing it a bit. Remember now, he is just acclimating to his new surroundings so give him a chance to settle down (a day or two). But you maybe bombarding his senses with all these food at once. I'd stick with just maybe one item per day.

:I know you're all excited and stuff and probably constantly watching over your tub right now and dying to see your turt eat (it'll happen just give him time), but just relax and so will your turtle.
