I agree with you- my advice is not always phrased for the comfort of the pet owner- I could apply a softer touch. It is still advice/constructive criticism meant to help. I don't think of myself as thin skinned, but I have been cranky for the last week as I have a bad cold. Perhaps my sweet side will re-emerge later. Sorry you have to travel so far for good veterinary help, but glad you have access if you need it.

:As for your advice on getting to know a herp vet, it one sense it is sound. I happen to live in an area loaded with vets, great vets if you own a dog or cat. As for herps I have to travel 3 hours to the state university to find a vet that has more knowledge of herps than I do. Kim has a similar situation. I know you're not a mind reader but you apparently are thin skinned for one who cuts no slack.
