A belated thanks for all the replies to my earlier post regarding two problematic PTS babies. They are both doing well. The incredibly tiny, 30 gram baby with the wide open umbilical cord hole (required two stitches) weighed 37 grams earlier this week. It makes full use of its floor to ceiling cage and will often eat tender new pathos leaves from my hand. The other baby, 68 grams, that exhibited respiratory distress (gasping) and dropped to 64 grams, stopped gasping after about a week and regained the lost weight. It hasn't really gained addition weight but I can usually hand feed it pathos leaves and it is also curious about its environment.
