Hey Whats up, everybody. My name is Jeff Mette, from NC. I posted this to the CITES forum, too. Some of it is a little off-topic. Basicly, Im looking for any type of info on imports of D. pumilio from Central America. Specificly I was wondering if anybody has info on the form described in this link (pdf)
http://216.239.51.100/search?q=cache:Cqf4gj2cQhkC:www.cites.org/eng/cttee/animals/17/E17-14-R1.doc+management+population+dendrobates+ranch&hl=es&ie=UTF-8
I would like to know if information was collected on D. pumilio mortalities since 1999 using this form, and if it´s on the internet. I´m in Guatemala right now, so that´s the best resource for me. I would also be stoked to hear anyones personal import mortality stories.
I´m also interested in any and all info on Frog Ranches (specif. Nicaraguan) that were affected by CITES recomendation such as the one listed here (scroll down to the table)
http://www.ukcites.gov.uk/license/Bulletin17.htm
to stop shippments of animals fradulently labeled as ranch production. And likewise any currently in operation througout central america (ie the recent Panamanian D. auratus imports).
OK thanks a lot, everybody. PEACE! Jeff
