It's not hard to get your import/export license. Contact your local USFish& Wildlife
office and enquire. They will mail you an application, where you simply indicate the nature
of your business, quantities and species you intend to import and why.
The cost is currently $50 US per annum.
As odd as it may sound, I'm a Canadian with a USF&W import/export license. This was necessary to
facilitate the importing of herps into the US by car.. I'm sort of the Canadian exporter and the US
importer both!!
