Moving freshwater fish...

Hi,
I am moving a 12inch bichir and 2 17inch rope fish this week, and need to know the best way to keep the water temp stable during the trip. They'll be travelling by car, and it's about a four hour drive (if traffic is not too bad). I origianlly planned to carry them in bags in a styrofoam cooler, but I haven't been able to find that type of cooler. So, I am thinking of using a heat pack in a regular cooler. Please, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
