Shipping to Alaska

Does anyone have any experience shipping to Alaska this time of year. I am shipping overnight of course, but the shipment is leaving mid-80 degree weather, and the destination is in the 40's. My main concern is having a heatpack overheating the snakes at the point of origin. I use Superior 3/4" foam boxes. I really would prefer to not use the heat packs. Any opinions?
