shipping from NM to NY

okay i have read a few of the posts here about shipping and i'm guesing most do it illegally, which i am fine with.

What i am looking for is a cheap way to ship my corn snake from NM to NY without it being killed. I've seen on here some ideas of using hot packs and cold ones.. but which should i use? it's hot in NM but cooler in NY... i have no idea here
also i would like some ideas of who to ship it with.

I am moving in a month and need to figure this all out.... any help would be appreciated.
