I just went through this today, as a matter of fact. I have been shipping from a Mailboxes Etc. Today is the last time I will do that. I was sending a box that weighed all of 4.5 lbs, and they wanted $88 for overnight via UPS. FedEx was only slightly less. They said it was because of the size of the box - 18 x 9 X 9. I have shipped plenty of times, and never paid more than $40, even at this same place, so I told them to forget it. I came home, repacked the goods in a 9x9x9 box, and arranged for a pick-up via UPS's website, It was $33.

I'm guessing MBE has a hefty surcharge.
