Shipping Balls?

I'm considering the adoption of two adult ball pythons, depending upon whether or not a local home can be found... The current mommy or myself has never before shipped a snake! If I were to adopt, what would be the best method for shipping? She is in the state below me... One is around 5', the other is around 4 1/2' long... Can anyone offer any tips, advice, etc.??? Anything will be greatly appreciated... Many thanks in advance!
