While I agree it would be difficult, I think it is well worth every effort. While some people get away with shipping herps...it is not legal and more importantly not safe for the reptile. It is also a great deal of conflict for the customer when a problem arises or it is discovered that someone is shipping a live animal. I know, I went through this hell yesterday. I praise your efforts and hope you are able to find some way to legally ship reptiles so that it is affordable, safe, and legal.
