WORRIED ABOUT LIZARD!

I recently ordered a bearded dragon and it was suppose to be here overnight, the USPS did not deliver it even though they guarantee it, I am worried that the two days it is taking to get here is really taking it's tole on this lizard and may even kill it. Can someone give me some help who has had a lot of experience with shipping reptiles? I would like to know my chances of getting a live lizard, it is shipping from Texas to Florida and it is 5 month BD.
