I have moved to San Diego from South Africa and I have a few questions. In South Africa I offered a free service of removing problem reptiles and relocating them to game reserves or other areas where there was a lesser chance of human contact. Most of them were bitis, naja, heamachatus, dendroaspis and the like.I have had 16 years or so dealing with venomous snakes including all crotalus and agkistrodon.I would like to know,if I wanted to do the same thing here in San Diego, who do I contact for the appropriate licenses,if indeed I need any at all.As I did in South Africa, I would remove the snakes for free, photograph and tag them (Ventral scale clipping),and release them where they are less likely to come into human contact.I know there is a need for this because the amount of people I have spoken to that say the kill snakes almost weekly is sickening. Please help with contact details and tips on how not to upset the authorities. Thanks a million.Don
