S.D. Banded Gecko

If anyone didn't know (God knows I didn't) there are banded geckos in Lemon Grove. This morning I saw my dogs freaking out over what I thought was probably another rat. Anyone that was at my house Saturday night knows how loud and how big my dogs are. I whent out thinking I was going to take a rat out of one of their mouths only to be surprised to see a badly scrathed up banded gecko. It was bleeding from one side from a tear in the skin on its back, but still moving. I put it in an isolation tank to try to nurse it back to health. I really don't think it will make it, but if anyone is studying them and would like to see it for any reason please call me. I will try to get a picture of it tonight when I get home. I love my dogs, but I am so pissed at them!
